Five days, five moods, one unforgettable house
Sentinel
The dinosaurs keep watch. Standing sentinel over the 280 freeway, they've seen Silicon Valley transform beneath them. Tech billionaires speed past in Teslas, unaware they're being observed by creatures 65 million years old.
Genesis
Built in 1976 using the aerodynamic "bubble" technique—spraying shotcrete over giant balloons. Architect William Nicholson created what local zoning boards would later call "a public nuisance." Florence calls it home.
Spectrum
When Florence bought the house, she didn't just paint it—she transformed it. Purple, orange, red: colors that make neighbors file lawsuits and make visitors smile. Every mushroom tells a story.
Threshold
Shot on Election Day 2018. While America voted, we filmed Florence among her prehistoric menagerie. Past meets future. Ballots and brontosauruses. Democracy and dinosaurs.
Spirit
The final day. Florence shares her philosophy: life should be fun, architecture should make you smile, and every home needs at least one mammoth. Bedrock isn't just a place—it's a state of mind.
